How do you treat seperation anxiety?
My dog has a serious case of seperation anxiety. He keeps breaking things and chewing stuff to pieces. How do i stop this? i need answers!
My dogs don't usually have separation anxiety because they have each other. They don't really mind when we go. Get a crate if you don't have one. Place the dog in it while you are gone.give toys or chew items to keep him busy. Try to do this for short periods of time. Lengthen the crate periods. He will learn that you are gone and this is his quiet time. Usually they sleep. Crating helps prevent him chewing on your stuff.
