What is the mechanism by which Rescue Remedy works? Particularly in dogs.?
It takes only 2 or 3 drops of Rescue Remedy for any of our agitated dogs to calm down for toenail clippings, for stud dogs with females in season, during storms. What does it actualy do - does it affect the nervous system? If so, how?
There is no evidence it does a thing.
I believe the human thinks it works, and because of that they change their body language and interaction with the dog.
If there is a real issue I seek advice and medication from my veterinarian.
